Pizza Glyph Reflection
Pizza Glyphs are really cool! In social studies this would be a great way to do a visual biography. I do a lesson on inclusion and exclusion and we could do it all visually (pictures) instead of traditional paper and pencil/written word.
This requires students to be creative and to link to memory because they are connecting things they know (pictures) with larger concepts. This is especially true if they needed to decode information from looking at others glyphs. Changes that I would make to this project already occurred. My original did not have a yellow filled in crust, but rather a yellow outline. To make this look more like a pizza I went back to edit it. To make it more eye appealing, I would not put my avatar and the rowing photo on the same side of the pizza. |
